Rochdale Tri Club Gain Starmark
Rochdale Triathlon Club have become the latest club in the North West to gain the Starmark accreditation. The club received their cheque for £500 from Regional Development Officer Rob Bishop just a day before the club also gained the "Disabled Triathlete Inclusive" mark.
Rochdale Triathlon ClubRob Bishop commented "This is a fantastic achievement for the club, when I first met the Club in 2006 they weren't sure about taking on the challenge of meeting this mark. Now the club have gained Star and the Disabled Triathlete Inclusive mark all within a week, the club are now working towards Clubmark. I would personally like to thank John Jackson, Paul Taylor and Brian Parkinson-Silk for all their efforts over the past 6 months"
If you are in a club in the North West that maybe interested in gaining either Club or Starmark please contact Rob Bishop @ robbishop@britishtriathlon.org.

Monthly Club Ride
The third Sunday of every month is dedicated to a "club ride". These rides are designed to allow mass participation for all members old and new, all abilities, boys and girls. The ride will be at a leisurely pace and will include a cafe stop. We would like to encourage a strong turn out for this ride for two reasons. One, it offers a good social environment that can be enjoyed by all, and, Two, we need the one english pound that we charge to help keep the club finances moving in the right direction. Please Note All under 18s MUST wear an approved cycle helmet "No Helmet No Ride".
