Welcome to the Rochdale Triathlon Club website, we are a Triathlon club based out of Rochdale in the North-West of England. If you are a member, we would welcome any input, contributions, ideas, photos, stories, results, etc. and please, KEEP IT CLEAN(ish). If you are not a member we hope you will take a little time to browse our pages and perhaps send us some feedback, if you wish to become a member details can be found on the membership page.

Club Accreditation
Star MarkThis means we have in place the necessary structure and procedures to carry the club forward, ie,a constitution, a functioning committee, BTF trained coaches, vulnerable adult and child protection plan and are a "Club for All"
Club MarkThis means we are all of the above with the addition of child and junior section. ie, bringing them into Triathlon with the appropriate coaching and guidance.
Monthly Club Ride
The third Sunday of every month is dedicated to a "club ride". These rides are designed to allow mass participation for all members old and new, all abilities, boys and girls. The ride will be at a leisurely pace and will include a cafe stop. We would like to encourage a strong turn out for this ride for two reasons. One, it offers a good social environment that can be enjoyed by all.
Please Note All under 18s MUST wear an approved cycle helmet "No Helmet No Ride".

Swims on Tuesday 7.00-8.00pm at the New Middleton Arena.
Friday pm Rochdale pool 8-9 pm with Rochdale Swimming Club coached by Mark Lord.
Novices Training Ride
Rochdale Triathlon Novices Training Ride
The new novices training ridesare aimed at those who are new to the Rochdale Triathlon Club/road riding. The ride is excellent for those in preperation for racing, for people who just want to boost their confidence while riding in traffic or to learn the etiquette of bunch riding.
What you need to carry - 2 spare inner tubes, a minimum of 3 tyre levers a working pump, a small puncture repair kit (optional).
1. Date Sat 18th or Sun 19th July
2. Venue. Somewhere in Middleton (suggest Arena for car parking, was talk of using trading estate or BA car park )
3. Ride 10 - 15 miles on a flat as possible route (JJ had some ideas)
4. Ride under guidance of Graham, JJ and Jenny to attend - is there a requirement for pre ride instruction?
5. Details need signing off by Graham
6. Novices to be informed, verbally or by posters.
7. List of participants requires drawing up.
8. Need list of novice riders who need bikes.
9. Loan bikes to be found.

BTA Membership / Race Licence
Why as a Triathlete you should seriously consider taking it up.- You are insured whilst out training, A must in this day & age.
- You get reduced race entry. Enter enough & you get your money back.
- Kudos. Now’t more cooler than a BTA race licence.
